Year 6 trip to Spark Arena 😁🚌🚌

Year 6 trip to Spark Arena😁🚌🚌

Hi chickensπŸ”(Yes I changed it to my favourite animals), today some of the year sixes were lucky enough to go to a place called Spark Arena. It took us half and hour to get there but when we did get there we did stuff that was really fun .We got to see 3 exhibitions; Van Gogh, Happy Place and last but not lest Sounds fun. We went inside and sat down on the mat in the Sounds fun room and we met  Some really cool people. We met someone called Suzy Cato, Steve and the CEO Brendan.

First we went into Happy Place. Happy Place is based on Instagram and there are different sections where you can take cool photos. Some of the things there were was, a cookie, chains, unicorn, upside down room and... THE BIG BALL PIT!!!. my favourite one was the unicorn

After that we did The Sounds Fun ExperienWe were taught how to play trumpets, trombones, electric drums and more. We then learned from a really cool recording studio manager (Barnaby) how to use a loop machine to create music with lots of instrument, beats and even our voices.

Last but not lest we went to the amazing Van Gogh Experience. This was a walk through digital wall with his amazing art all over it, it also had the story of his life. It was so cool to see all of his paintings come to life. There was classical music surrounding us.

Hope you enjoyed my blog. Blog you later bye!!! πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

Swimming at Cameron Pools 🏊🏊🏊

 Swimming at Cameron Pools 🏊🏊🏊

Hi guinea pigs 🐹. Today I will be talking about Cameron Pools. Every Tuesday and Thursday me and my class go to Cameron Pools. The whole syndicate goes at different times because we don't have enough space for everyone. Since we go at different times, Waitemata & Kaiwhare have to have lunch a little bit early. Once we finished our lunch we had to get changed and then we leave.

We all got assigned a coach but had to switch classes my first coaches name was Jasmine and my new coaches name is Brittany. What we were learning was how to do free style and side kicks. When were ending on the first week Brittany lets us do dolphin dives and this week she let us do mermaid kicks.

It is really important for all children in NZ to learn how to swim because we live on an island and are surrounded by water.

Hope you enjoy my blog, blog ya later bye!!!
