swimming

Hi Bloggers today I will be talking about my swimming. Every Tuesday and
Thursday I go to  Cameron pools and every Mondays and Wednesdays I go to the school pool. Here are some photos and a video. When we're in the school pool we learnt about Breast stroke and free Style. getting to know you

Hi and welcome to the first blog of 2020. 

My class and I all made a getting to know you form we all had fun doing it but it took us two or three weeks to do it.

The getting to know you form is about ourselves and it talks about things like what we like, what we are good at,

what we don't like and about our family background.

We also had to add a photo of ourselves.  We all got to choose a cool font and cool colours.

We shared about who our friends are.

Lorde

My class and I went on the Summer Learning Journey. We all made a post about Lorde. When we were making them we added pictures then we added facts about her. Here is mine. I hope you like it.😃😃

Athletics day

On Tuesday we did Athletics day. We did sprints for 400m, 200m and 100m then we did high jump, shot put and long jump.

  We also did other things like team building and tennis. At the end of every thing we did, we took a break. Then we did house relays and on Friday the teachers will announce what house wins.

Pasifika mamas

We went to the Corban Estate Art Centre to see the Pasifika Mamas. We had to take our shoes off before we went inside. when we where going in threw the gates Aunty Tu was playing the log drum.

We made leis from fabric flowers, straws and string. We all made them for people we know. I made mine for my dad. 

We took turns with the drums. there were skin drums and log drums (some of us got blisters) and there was a boys vs girls challenge. We learned to dance. the girls and boys had different actions. 

Science Experiment

My class and I did science experiments. We got to use a pipette, a container of water and a ten cent coin. We had to see how many drops we could fit on the coin.

It was really fun because  it sometimes exploded! I wish I could do it again but I can't go to the past in a time machine.⏰🏧

Unicorn Poem

Hi bunny's 🐇 , on Monday we where making cinquains. We all made different poems my poem is about unicorns 🦄 🦄. It was really fun because we got to use pictures and different colours.
